Email Message from Steven Secrest!

Hi Tigers and Families:

We're in need of two more sign offs for Adam to get the Tiger Badge before Feb 12th Blue and Gold, I know some of you also need the same two sign offs for:  #3 Go see it (page) 60 sporting event,
#4 Go see it (page 69) Visit a radio station.  Mark's Dad, Mr. Casey, is trying to get a time this week or next for TBN visit, stay tuned for more information about that!

Please pray for his Aunt who is the contact for this tour who has recently fallen very ill, that she may make a full, quick recovery. Mr. Casey, could you please reply to all to let us know about your Aunt's health?

Thank you to  Andrew's Mom Jenny who also has some great ideas for the sign off.

Additionally, please be sure to work on these sign offs: #1 go see it (go to the library), #3 family (plan a fire drill) and #4 family  (share with your family about your day and be a good listener when other family members are sharing about their day, around the dinner table)

Gearing Up for Blue & Gold

Hi Tiger Families,
We have a den meeting tomorrow night, January 26th at 7:00 pm. We'll be meeting at Davis Elementary's MPR. We will be putting the finishing touches on the necessary requirements for Blue & Gold next month.

Here are some things we need to complete in order to get our badges at the B&G meeting next month:
  • Prepare a plan for a fire drill at home,
  • Make a plan with your family about what to do when you get lost
  • We'll need to do a fun sport activity and vist a TV, Radio Station or Newspaper
Below are a few links I've found that may help with preparing a fire drill and about what to do should you become separated from your family or lost. Den Leader Steve is working to put together a visit to TBN in Costa Mesa so we can cross that requirement off our list!  We will determine if another meeting will be needed before next month's Blue and Gold depending on what we accomplish tomorrow!

Thanks in advance for being on time! See you tomorrow!

PS: There is a ton of information on this kind of preparedness on the web. There are even videos that you can watch with your kids together.
